Jointly formed by the League of Oregon Cities and the Association of Oregon Counties, CIS provides risk management, property/liability insurance, workers' compensation and employee benefits services to member cities and counties in Oregon. CIS enables local governments to work together and conserve their human, physical and natural resources against the risk of accidental losses. Local insurance agents are active risk management partners with member local governments and with CIS. Over 95% of Oregon cities and over 55% of counties are contributing members of CIS.
